The ousted Opposition Leader Mick Beddoes said he has now filed the complaint against the interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama and the RFMF for alleged treason as he had earlier hoped that matters could have been resolved by now.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Beddoes said he was also mindful of the time frame to lodge complaints and was waiting to see what steps Commodore Bainimarama was taking to return the country to democratic rule.
Beddoes said he handed in an official statement to Sabeto Police last night and is prepared to provide any assistance the police may require.
The ousted Opposition Leader also confirmed that he had not received any threats or had been initiated by anyone since lodging the complaint as alleged by members of the SDL who have also filed a complaint against Bainimarama and the RFMF.
