Wallabies fullback Kurtley Beale yesterday hobbled around Sydney Airport with a twisted ankle, his left arm in a sling and sporting four stitches from a head gash.

Beale is in doubt for the match against All Blacks in two weeks time.

While team officials believe Beale should have enough time to get over his ankle, shoulder, arm and head concerns, contingency plans are already in process.

James O’Connor is the most likely to take over at fullback.

The Tri Nations series continues in Wellington this Saturday when the All Blacks will take on Springboks at 7.35pm.
