The Divisional Water Engineer Central Eastern Division, Samuela Tubui is pleading with the residents around Pilling Road in Valelevu to be patient and to bear with them on the intermittent water supply today.
Tubui said the problem lies around the Laqere Bridge where the Public Works Department is trying to replace old pipes by laying new and bigger pipes to increase the volume of water supply.
Tubui hopes that engineers will complete their work by this afternoon.
Water trucks will be provided to residents in Pilling Road, Valelevu.
