The whole system of getting a permit using middlemen invites corruption.
Those are the words of Immigration Director Viliame Naupoto when highlighting one of the problems his office faces with reference to corruption.
Naupoto explains people need to be aware of corrupt practices happening around them adding they need to be educated enough to know that such practices are wrong.
Naupoto said integrity and responsibility needs to be exercised by the whole organization from the lowest levels to the high ranking officials, adding there must be a holistic fight against corruption when it does occur.
