Be Prepared To Listen: Rolls
This is the view of femLINKPACIFIC Coordinator Sharon Baghwan Rolls who said this also means journalists should be able to carry out their work freely.
The Fiji Media Council had also hit out at the actions taken by police taking in Fiji Times journalist Serafina Silaitoga for questioning on a news article published in Saturday's Fiji Times.
Tarte said journalists are being taken in for questioning and this is a threat to media freedom.
Meanwhile, Police have confirmed that Silaitoga has been released from police custody as the questioning has finished.
The investigation is being carried out in regards to the article in which former Labasa Mayor Charan Jeet Singh claimed that Interim Finance Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry has been told to leave the Interim Government.
Labasa police are expected to question Charan Jeet Singh soon.
