With the changing weather patterns around the country, the Ministry of Health is calling on the public to be more health conscious.
Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said the beginning of the year has been recorded as the wettest period along with heat waves and said common cases seen at hospitals are people suffering from the common cold.
With the North reporting 49 cases in a five day period, Tora advises people to be careful.
Nationwide there are 10 cases of Leptospirosis and 131 cases of Dengue and Typhoid.
