The Kadavu Chief who is heading the GCC Taskforce has called on the chiefs from the 14 provincial councils to be fair to the interim government by submitting the 3 names to the Great Council of Chiefs.
Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo has raised concerns that they are aware of some chiefs who do not agree with the decisions from their Bose Vanua by not supporting the new GCC promulgation.
However, he said the chiefs are pushing for elections to go ahead.
Nawalowalo added he has a list of names of the chiefs who will be appointed to the GCC soon.
