The SDL's National Director is calling on the Police Commissioner to be fair and just, and allow the investigations into their complaints of alleged treason against the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama and others to proceed.

Peceli Kinivuwai said one of the resons given for their removal back in 2006, was according to Bainimarama, their failure to investigate those who were involved in the 2000 coup.

Kinivuwai said it is therefore only fair for the Police Commissioner to do the same thing as the event has reoccurred so investigations of those involved in the 2006 coup should be carried out.
