The Waratahs rugby team has lost yet another front row forward to injury.
Veteran prop Al Baxter has been ruled out of this week’s match with a dislocated thumb and swollen foot.
To add to this, the team management has their fingers crossed about the availability of five eight Berrick Barnes for the match at home against the Chiefs.
Barnes suffered his second head knock of the season during last weekend’s hard fought win over the Brumbies in Canberra.
Barnes will get the results of the medical tests later today.
The Waratahs take on the Chiefs at 8.40pm this Friday.
Meanwhile, at 6.35pm, the Highlanders will play the Brumbies.
