Bau high chief Ratu Epenisa Cakobau's lawyer Semi Leweniqila has asked the court for more time to prepare for his client's hearing date.
Ratu Epenisa appeared in court this morning charged for allegedly assaulting Ratu Meli Bainimarama in one of the nightclubs in Suva.
He had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges in the Magistrates court. Magistrate John Semisi has adjourned the case to the 15th of November for mention.
Leweniqila also said that Ratu Epenisa wants to reconcile with Ratu Meli before the next hearing date.
