Bau High Chief under investigations
Ratu Apenisa told Village news this morning that he does not see any other reason to justify why he was taken to the army barracks to be detained.
However, the Fiji Military Forces stresses that Ratu Apenisa Cakobau was taken to the QEB on Sunday morning to ensure he does not embarrass himself any further.
Speaking to Village news, Spokesperson Lt. Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said they agree with the steps taken the soldiers who escorted Ratu Apenisa to QEB as his actions were unbecoming of a High Chief.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating Ratu Apenisa Cakabau for allegedly assaulting a solider in a nightclub in Suva on Saturday night.
Director CID, SP Waisea Vakamocea has confirmed that a report has been lodged at the Central Police station where a solider claims that he was allegedly assaulted by Ratu Apenisa.
