The battle for the best twelve players for next years World Youth netball championship is heating up with one more year to go.

National under 21 coach Moape Vu said their preparations is on track with three of his players in the senior netball side in the likes of wonder girl Unaisi Rauluni, Taufa Taga and Raijieli Daurewa.

Vu added that he is hoping to take a better prepared side next year.


The under 21 side defeated Vanuatu 63-30 on Wednesday and again last night 65-31 as they are building up for the championship in Glassgow, Scotland next year.

The Fiji under 21 will take on Vanuatu in their final match in the next hour.

Meanwhile, some netball fans have the belief that Fiji will win the Pacific Netball Series for three years in a row this afternoon.


Fiji will play Cook Islands at 5 this afternoon. Fiji needs to beat Cook Islands to clinch the PNS title.
