The battle for second place is heating up with just two rounds remaining in the IRB 7's series.

With New Zealand the favourites to collect their 11th World Series in Scotland, South Africa currently sit second with 100 points, just two points ahead of Fiji.

Samoa have won one Cup title this season, in Dubai, while Fiji and South Africa are the only teams to have won two this season.

Last year Fiji finished second behind New Zealand and Captain, Setefano Cakau, is hoping to defend that position in the same way.

Cakau said their main target was to be first but it did not happen so they want to be second.

Fiji will take on Spain at 9.52pm tomorrow.

Fiji will then play Argentina at 12.58am Sunday and our last pool match is against Australia at 5.15am Sunday.

The Cup quarters start at 10.58pm Sunday, Cup semis kick off at 2.58am Monday and the final will get underway at 5.45am Monday.
