Fiji soccer’s veteran midfielder Lorima Batirerega said soccer players now play for money rather than district pride.
The 43-year-old who will be playing for the Savusavu veterans side in the Master Classics Veteran Football Tournament said it feels good to return to the field again.
The Master Classics Veteran Football Tournament will feature some prominent names like Osea Masi, Buli Cama, Tevita Tukania, Petero Namoce, Vilikesa Bola, Orisi Vunisa, Ivor Evans, Jone Watisoni and many more.
The Master Classics Veteran Football Tournament will start next Thursday at the ANZ stadium.
