Samurai Barracuda’s David Batiratu forced his way into the Digicel Fiji 7s squad to prepare for the next HSBC Series to Hong Kong and Adelaide after an impressive performance at the Marist 7s yesterday.

Batiratu was also instrumental in the team winning the Nawaka 7s in Nadi last weekend however luck was not on their side yesterday after they bowed out of the quarter finals to Police by 14-0.

Also making a comeback into the squad is Wardens, Setefano Cakau who is well known the 7s arena with his defence and strong tackles.

Meanwhile, Army Green walked away $25,000 richer yesterday after the beat Ratu Filise in the finals by 28-14.

Other members of the Digicel Fiji 7s squad that will march into camp tomorrow include - Varinava Are, Watisoni Votu, Jerry Burotu, Emosi Vucago, Niumaia Cakacaka, Ilai Tinai, Peni Gaunimeke, Waisale Dau, Osea Kolinisau, Nikola Matawalu, Jone Macilai, Leone Nakarawa, Nemani Nagusa, Sakenasa Aca, Sailosi Rabo, Apisai Nayabo and Waqabaca Kotobalavu.

The team marches into camp at 2pm tomorrow at the Bergengren House in Suva.
