Digicel Fiji 7's winger, David Batiratu will be moved to the forwards if Dale Tonawai will not recover from his injury.
Tonawai has a muscle strain in his lower back which coach Joe Savou hope will heal in time before the first game against Scotland.
With Apolosi Satala providing the experience in the forwards with Watisoni Votu, Savou will use Sakenasa Aca if Tonawai does not recover in time with Batiratu providing the cover.
Fiji will play Scotland at 12.04am tomorrow morning, USA at 3.10am and Samoa at 5.49am.
