"We are not in the semis to make up the numbers"

These are the words of Vodafone Fiji Bati captain Petero Civoniceva ahead of their Rugby League World Cup semi final clash against Australia this Sunday.

Civoniceva said they have learnt a lot after playing the Kangaroos in pool play.

Fiji will now hope to do better than the 54 nil drubbing they received from the Kangaroos in the 2008 RLWC semi final and their 34-2 loss to Australia in pool play.

The Bati will be the first Fijian sporting side to play at Wembley Stadium with a capacity sitting of 90,000 but over 70,000 tickets have been sold for the semi finals.

Both semifinals will be played this Sunday with the Vodafone Fiji Bati playing Australia at 4:30am while New Zealand will meet England at 2am.
