With only a day to go before the Pacific Rugby League Cup kicks off in Papua New Guinea, the Vodafone Fiji Bati team is raring to meet their first opponents, the Cook Islands.

Wes Naiqama said that the team is in high spirits and had a great session off and on the field.

The team is also boosted with the presence of Papua New Guinea 7s Coach, Waisale Serevi, who has been very inspirational at training.

It is understood that Serevi will present the playing jerseys to the boys tomorrow evening.

Fiji's first game is at 3pm on Saturday at the Lloyd Robinson stadium in PNG.
