The Vodafone Fiji Bati only has to beat one team in its pool in the Rugby League World Cup to qualify for the quarterfinals.

There are four pools, however, two pools have four teams each and three teams from each pool will go through to the quarters.

The remaining pools only have three teams each and one team from each pool will go through to the quarterfinals.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati is pooled with Australia, Ireland and England.

World champions New Zealand is pooled with France, PNG and Samoa.

Pool C has Tonga, Scotland and Italy while Pool D has USA, Cook Islands and Wales.

Fiji Bati captain Petero Civoniceva said Fiji will also have a huge advantage as 15 of the 24 players in the team are playing in the NRL competition.

He said they will be playing against a number of players who they know very well.

Civoniceva said that more players have started playing in the NRL in Australia because of the performance of Noa Nadruku with the Canberra Raiders.
