“I can still vividly remember 13 years ago when we beat the Kumuls in Port Moresby, it was an experience of a lifetime.”

That is the word from Fiji Bati team manager, Timoci Vatubuli as he inspires his boys to repeat history later this afternoon.

Vatubuli said that it is not easy to watch from the sidelines and he only wished he could run the ball again, a feeling of a hunger to win, something he felt way back before the match in 1998.

He added he is confident that the players in the squad can win against the Kumuls on their home ground, but it all depends on the way they play the game and stick to the game plan.

The Fiji Bati and Kumuls match kicks off at 6pm this afternoon in Port Moresby.
