Vodafone Fiji Bati captain to the Pacific Nations Cup, Wes Naiqama has only two weeks to prepare his team-mates well for tournament.
Naiqama was last night announced to captain the team and the Newcastle Knights player said this tournament will be a tough one and they cannot take any team lightly.
Naiqama is amongst the eight overseas based players who have been named in the squad.
Naiqama's younger brother, Kevin was also selected but is down with an injury, but coach Terry Gilogley is confident it is only minor and he will recover in time for the tournament.
The Pacific Nations Cup kicks off in Papua New Guinea on October 19.
The winner from the Pacific Cup tournament automatically qualifies for the Five Nations, which involves teams from France, Australia, New Zealand and United Kingdom.
