The Vodafone Fiji Bati coaching staff was quick to remind the players after the 42-6 win against France in their opening Rugby League World cup pool game that the result is now history.
Manager Ilaitia Naqau said the side has been told that Saturday night's game is now gone and it is time for them to set another goal against Scotland.
Naqau added the side is treating the match against Scotland like a final.
The Fiji Bati will take on Scotland on Wednesday night at 9.10pm.
Meanwhile, in last night's only match the Australian Kangaroos thrashed England by 52 points to 4.
Australia which has so far won every Rugby League World Cup title has qualified for the semifinals and is on track for another World Cup victory at home.
