Luisa Basei cannot believe how she has come to represent the Fiji Women's rugby side, especially at the World Cup stage.

The 21 year old winger from Naqarani, Noco in Rewa says she took up rugby in 2010 and represented the Fijiana side to the World Cup qualifier in India last year.

The former Saint Jospeh the Worker and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School student shares how she also loves playing Cricket but that all changed when she joined the Striders Club of Suva.

The Fijiana is pooled with USA, Spain and Brazil and the side will leave with the Men's team tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7s side will play Tonga at 12.28am next Saturday in their first pool match of the 7s World Cup.

We then take on Uruguay at 6.28pm next Saturday and Fiji's last pool match is against Wales at 12.42am Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 9pm Sunday, the Cup semis kick off at 12.40am Monday while the World Cup 7s final will start at 4.55am Monday.
