Some of the fishing grounds from the Vanua of Rewa which was barred for use will be opened during the annual Methodist Church conference.
Chairman of the Development Committee in Rewa Pita Tagicakiverata said the island of Beqa is part of Rewa adding they will now open the fishing ground to provide fish for the delegates.
Meanwhile, 54 villages from the Rewa province have prepared their houses for billeting ready for the annual conference in August.
Lomanikoro village will host the conference.
