The Fiji Barabarians scored in the last minute of play to beat the Pacific Rugby Cup defending champions the Fiji Warriors by 23-20 a few minutes ago.

The Fiji Barbarians showed they have the style as they got the territory and the possession and their try came from Josevata Naisilisili and two penalty kicks to Jaoji Dakuvula.

Digicel Fiji 7s captain Emosi Vucago came in the second half and greatly inspired the team and also contributed a lot to the win.

Defending Pacific Rugby Cup champions, Fiji Warriors were given a good run for their money in the first match this afternoon as they were tied at 13-all with the Fiji Barbariansat half time.

The Rupeni Nasiga captained side scored the winning try from tight head prop Vesi Rarawa in the stroke of full time, to deny the Warriors in kicking off their campaign in a winning style.

Barbarians coach Penisoni Uluiviti said his boys played their heart out yesterday and although most of his players are new to top level rugby, they showed their worth against the experience Warriors outfit.
