The Digicel Barbarians team is through to the quarter finals of the Yaubula Kadavu 7s that will continue at the Namalata Central School ground today.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula said the trip to Kadavu has helped the boys a lot in bridging the gap with the players in rural areas, a missing link amongst the boys right now.
In the quarter finals to begin at 9am, Ono Kadavu meetS Nodrai Sharks, Nacomoto take on Drue, Service meet Joma and the Digicel Barbarians will meet Tawava.
Meanwhile, in the Foster Mokani 7's tournament that is happening in Tailevu, Red Rock, Waimanu, Nasinu and Veisari Tornados are likely to make it to the semi-finals after the teams managed to win the two pool matches yesterday.
The last pool matches will be played today after which the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played at the Ratu Ravuama School grounds.
