The Pacific’s fastest man Banuve Tabakaucoro believes he is capable of competing in the Olympics in 2016.
He said there is no competition for him in Fiji and the Pacific.
When questioned by Fijivillage on when he will go abroad for professional development and training, Tabakaucoro said he knows the only way for him to improve his time and make it to the Olympics is to get overseas exposure.
The former Marist Brothers High School student also said there is no overseas offer for him at the moment.
Athletics Fiji President Albert Miller said they are trying to arrange something for Banuve overseas.
Tabakaucoro will take part in the World Championship in Moscow next month.
Meanwhile, Digicel Fiji resigned Tabaukocoro as its Brand Ambassador for another two years.
