2009 Coke Games Best Male Athlete, Banuve Tabakaucoro has been training again with the Athletics Fiji squad.
The Form 7 Marist Brothers High School student will be out to make amends after he was disqualified from the 2010 Coke Games 100 meters finals, after he broke twice.
Tabakaucoro will be competing against close rivals, Coke Games Blue Ribbon champion Mataiasi Savou and Lepani Naivalu from Suva Grammar School, Nikotimo Radiva from Sila Central, Laisiasa Tuisawau from Queen Victoria School and Isoa Me from Lelean Memorial School.
Athletics Fiji Secretary, Albert Miller confirmed that Tabakaucoro is back training and he is looking forward to stiff competition in the sprints at the Fiji Games.
Athletics Fiji will be holding their competition at the TFL Stadium tomorrow which kicks off at 9am with the 5,000 meters final.
A total of 71 athletes will be taking part at the Fiji Games tomorrow and the National Athletics Championship on June 26 to book a spot for the 2011 Pacific Games.
