Banuve Tabakaucoro improved his performance in the Pacific Mini Games in Wallis and Futuna after recording a time of 10.40 seconds in the 100 metres semifinals.

Tabakaucoro, who is celebrating his 21st birthday today, will feature in the final later this afternoon with Francis Kirikirikula and Waisake Raselala.

In the women’s 100 metres final, Elenoa Sailosi, Gospel High School sprinter Younis Bese and Sila Central College’s Timaima Qica have all booked their places.
