Pacific sprint king Banuve Tabakaucoro recorded the second fastest time in the 100 metre heats of the Australian Athletics Competition yesterday.
The Bau bullet clocked a time of 10.43 seconds and he will feature in the final late today.
Tabakaucoro is also trying to qualify for the Commonwealth Games in July.
He will take part in 200 metres tomorrow.
