Banuve Tabakaucoro has qualified for the 100 metres final of the Australian Athletics Championship after winning his semifinal race in a time of 10.44 seconds.
The Pacific Games champion will face stiff competition from Tim Leathart of New South Wales who won the second semifinal in 10.38 seconds.
The 100 metres final will be held tonight.
