Marist Brothers High School sprint king Banuve Tabakaucoro is the only athlete selected from the Coca Cola Games for the World Youth Championship.

This was confirmed by Athletics Fiji Coach Albert Miller. He said the 16yr-old meets all the selection criteria and will represent Fiji.

Miller said they will provide all the help for Tabakaucoro in his preparation as he is also part of Team Fiji for the Mini Pacific Games.

Tabakaucoro was named the Male Athlete of the Cola Games after he won three gold medals in the 100, 200 and 4x100 metres final. He also broke the record in the 100 metres with a new time of 10.71 seconds.
