National sprinter and Marist Brothers high School student, Banuve Tabakaucoro is on track to help Augustine walk away with the Marist Brothers High School inter house athletics title today.

The sports academy student is taking part in a total of four senior events in the one day meet ranging from the 100m, 200m, 4x100m and the long jump.

Tabakaucoro who said he would rather do his talking on the field today was all smiles as he cruised through the senior boys 100m finals to grab the first spot.

Meanwhile, another athlete to watch during the Suva Zone 2 would be former Lomary Secondary School long distance runner, Varasiko Toge who cruised through the Senior Boys 1500m at the Marist inter-house.

The Form 7 student is expected to provide stiff challenge for Tabakaucoro in the senior boy’s 400 meters final this afternoon.

The Marist inter house which is currently underway at the TFL Stadium ends this afternoon.
