The Nadi Mayor believes that it will be unfair to ban all Sunday trading.
Timoci Koroiqica said Nadi is a tourist town and they have to serve their people seven days a week.
He said the Methodists can close their businesses on Sundays and go to Church however this should not be forced on others.
He added that the final decision will be made by his council after he receives a proposal.
