Fiji First Parliamentarian, Balmindar Singh has been charged with one count of assault.
It is alleged that he assaulted a 30-year-old man in a night club in Suva early this month.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed to Fijivillage that he has been charged with assault and will be produced via charge in court.
She says a summons date is yet to be decided.
