The Fiji Rugby Union is now waiting for a response from Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula on his availability for the next season of the IRB Sevens circuit.
Tanivula's contract with FRU ended when the Scotland Sevens Tournament finished and Acting CEO Keni Dakuidreketi said they have analyzed Fiji's performance and now the ball lies in Tanivula's hands.
Fiji finished in second place this year behind South Africa who won the 2008/09 IRB World Sevens Series.
