The legal counsel of late Josefa Baleiloa's family is awaiting the police investigation into Baleiloa's death to conclude before filing civil action against those implicated into his arrest and alleged killing.
Sevuloni Valenitabua told Fijivillage News that they have got the detailed post mortem report of Baleiloa and necessary documents are now being prepared to take those responsible to court.
Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni earlier confirmed that they are working with the DPP's office as investigations continue.
Josefa Baleiloa who escaped from the Naboro Prison was recaptured in Cunningham by a team of Police officers and Prison recap team.
He sustained serious injuries during the arrest and was admitted at the CWM hospital where he passed away a few weeks later.
