Fiji Labour Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry said he cannot make decisions on his own on whether party will accept the invitation from Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama to discuss about the future of our country.

This meeting is expected to be held between all the political party leaders and Bainimarama together in one room at the parliament complex next Monday.

Chaudhry said FLP Committee will decide tomorrow whether or not they will accept the invitation. He refused to say anything further.

Bainimarama is planning to bring all the political party leaders together in one room at the parliament complex next Monday.

In a letter to the party leaders, Bainimarama said the interim government and the state are committed to conducting a general election as soon as practically possible. He said it is imperative that they move forward to facilitate this without further, undue delay.

Bainimarama is also flexible on the agenda of this proposed meeting on Monday.
