Bail was today granted to 24 year old Sevanaia Lotudina who is charged with the murder of a 4 year old girl from Beqa, by High Court judge, Justice Paul Madigan

Justice Madigan told the court that bail is a right for the accused however it does not take away the spirit of the constitution.

Justice Madigan however imposed strict conditions whereby Lotudina has been warned not to go back to Beqa, not to speak to witnesses and to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Fridays.

The case is adjourned to the 13th of January, 2010.

Lotudina has been charged with the alleged murder of a 4yr old girl of Beqa, whose body was found floating in the sea, and a post mortem conducted revealed that she died of strangulation.
