With just nine days remaining to the start of the Fiji Bitter Fact, the Southern soccer teams are still struggling to prepare a good side for the four-day tournament.

Teams like Rewa, Nasinu, Suva and Navua cannot have a proper training session due to wet weather in the Capital City.

The officials of the four districts are praying for favourable weather so they can train well, to put together a winning combination to win the tournament next weekend.

If rain continues, the Southern Division teams will not have enough preparation time, which may put the Western Division teams as favourites to win the 18th Fiji Bitter Fact title.

The tournament will be officially opened on Thursday 29th May by the Indian High Commissioner. The opening game at 5pm will see Nasinu taking on Tavua.
