Digicel Fiji 7s coach, Ben Ryan said he will work on the basics when he officially starts work with the team in Gold coast today.

Ryan said he properly watched each player play in the Fiji Water Centennial Oceania and International tournament over the weekend and has a fair idea where work needs to be done.


The Fiji 7s team will leave for Australia today.

Fiji will play its first match of the Gold Coast 7s against Canada at 1.58pm on Saturday. 

Fiji’s second match will be against Portugal at 5.14pm and the last pool match will be against Wales at 9.24pm.

Cup quarterfinals start 1.58pm on Sunday, Cup semis kicks off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.
