Sigatoka Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old baby whose body was found in a small creek in a settlement in Sigatoka yesterday afternoon.

Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri had confirmed the child was at home with his mother when he was discovered missing. After a search, his body was found floating in the creek.

A team of detectives from the Sigatoka Police station are in the settlement conducting investigations. Police have once again called on the parents not to leave their children unattended.

Meanwhile, Nadi Police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old Resort worker whose body was found in the toilet.

According to police the man was last heard calling for help and when fellow workers went to check him, he was found dead.

A post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
