A five month old baby was injured during an argument between the baby's parents on Sunday night.
Assistant Police PRO Corporal Josaia Weicavu said there was an argument between the 30 year old father and his 21 year old wife when the child’s mother attempted to consume chlorine however while the husband was trying to stop the wife, the chlorine splashed on the child.
According to Corporal Josaia, the child was rushed to the hospital and is currently recovering at home with rashes from chlorine effects.
Both the parents have been interviewed and released.
