Police in Ba are investigating the death of a 3 month old baby girl who was found dead by her parents last night.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that the mother fell asleep while breastfeeding the baby.
It is believed that the baby suffocated and died.
A post mortem is expected to be conducted today to determine the cause of her death.
Police are expected to question the parents soon.
