An 11 month old baby has lost her life after suffering from diarrhea.
Divisional Crime Officer, ASP Ramesh Chand said the parents of the baby girl were travelling from Rewasau Village in Monasavu to Vunidawa Hospital, when the vehicle they were travelling in broke down.
They managed to get a lift from another vehicle however the baby died on her way to the hospital.
A post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
