The Labasa soccer team has dropped to last place on the National Soccer League points table after losing their protest against Nasinu.

The Babasiga Lions now have only two points from 7 games and is the only team that has not a single match in the first round so far.

They defeated Nasinu 2-1 but fielded one of the former Nasinu player without a proper clearance and the decision was handed in favour of Nasinu by Fiji Football Association.

Meanwhile Labasa will try to win both its game this weekend to avoid been relegated next season.

Labasa will play Nadroga on Friday at Lawaqa Park and then face Ba on Sunday at the TFL National Stadium.
