Babasiga Lions Top Pool 2
The Babasiga boys leads Pool 2 with 7 points and still have a game at hand against Nasinu today.
The Anand Sami coached side beat Tavua 1-0 yesterday before holding Navua to a nil all draw.
The other two teams that will be fighting for a spot to accompany Labasa from Pool 2 are Nadi and Navua who are still left with two pool games.
In Pool 1 the race of a spot in the semi-final is still wide open after the Shop and Save Lautoka side defeated defending champion Vodafone Ba 1-0 in the last game of yesterday.
The win has left the sugar city boys with a 7 points lead in Pool 1 and are closely followed by Rewa on 6 points.
Lautoka will just need a draw when they take on Rewa this afternoon but the delta tiger face a must win situation.
For defending champion Ba they are still in the running for the semi-final as they are left with two games against Nadroga and Suva.
The Men In Black will have to win both of this game for a place in the semi-final.
Today game kicks-off at 9am with Navua taking on Tavua before Nadroga faces Suva at 10.15am with live commentary on our sister radio station Sargam.
