Ba unveils new talent in draw against Rewa
20 year old Ratu Vula Veidogo was a new kid for many yesterday at Ratu Cakobau Park, but he turned out to be the savior for the Men in Black when he got the equalizer after Rewa was leading 1-0.
Veidogo who resides at FSC compound in Ba, beat the Rewa coach and defender, Marika Rodu twice in the penalty box and slammed in the ball in the left hand corner of the goalmouth.
Speaking to Fijivillage after the game, Veidogo stressed it was a dream come true to don the Men in Black jersey.
Ba's second goal was scored by Avinesh Waran while Rewa's goals were scored by Archie Watkins and Ratu Veresa Toma.
Meanwhile, in another match yesterday, Navua beat Lautoka 1-0 to register its first win in the competition.
After the matches yesterday, Ba and Rewa are tied with five points, Navua has three points while Lautoka sit last with two points.
