The sponsorship issue concerning the Ba soccer team is yet to be ressolved.
Ba soccer President, Rishi Kumar said Ba will continue to use Digicel as their sponsor in the OFC Champions league.
Kumar said all the details about the sponsorship was known to everyone before their first match.The Fiji Football Association issued a statement last week saying Ba is not permitted to use Digicel as a naming right sponsor for the district during the Champions League.
CEO, Bob Kumar said this decision has been made after careful deliberation and obtaining legal opinions to avoid any potential legal action or any disruption to football tournaments.
Kumar said Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel is in New Zealand and will be talking to Rishi Kumar soon.
Bob Kumar said Fiji FA has written to Ba soccer about the issue but no reply has come from them.
