The Ba soccer team has suffered a setback before the Courts Inter District Championship after top mid-fielder, Shalen Lal has been ruled of the tournament due to injury.

The Ba school teacher twisted his right ankle during training.

According to Ba officials, Meli Codro will fill in Lal's position.

Meanwhile, Avinesh Swamy, Petero Dauniseka and Kini Villiame will lead the Men in black in the Courts IDC.

The side last won IDC in 2007 at the TFL stadium and will rely on the young talent this time around to lift the prestigious trophy.
